1. Unplug and Cool
   Always unplug the iron and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
   
2. Make a Cleaning Solution
   Mix equal parts of white vinegar and distilled water.
   
3. Dip a Cotton Swab / Toothpick
   Dip a cotton swab (or a toothpick wrapped in cloth) into the solution.
   Gently insert it into the steam holes to loosen dirt, limescale, or fabric residue.
   
4. Wipe the Soleplate
   Use a soft cloth dipped in the same solution to wipe the soleplate surface.
   
5. Flush with Clean Water
   Fill the water tank with distilled water only, then turn on the steam function for a few minutes to flush out any vinegar left inside.
   
6. Final Dry Run
   Empty the water tank and let the iron heat up again.
   Press steam onto an old cloth until no residue comes out.

A steam generator iron works by heating water in a separate boiler to produce high-pressure steam, which is delivered through the soleplate for faster, deeper fabric penetration compared to a regular steam iron.
